Each blog entry can also have attached documents that will be available to the blog site visitors. These documents can be almost any format you desire.
- Event: An event will be posted to the Event Calendar and has a beginning and ending date and time. There is also a Title, Teaser or Summary and a Body that describes the event. The information in the Teaser or Summary and the Body can include multiple fonts, type sizes and photographs or graphics if desired.
- Forum Topic: This is the area where a user can create Forum questions on the forum topic. There is also a Title, Teaser or Summary and a Body that describes the event. - Image: The user can submit any images in the form of photos, graphics or videos in this section. There is also a Title, Teaser or Summary and a Body that describes the event. The information in the Teaser or Summary and the Body can include multiple fonts, type sizes and photographs or graphics if desired. The system does not allow a private Blog unless it is part of a group.
Groups are established by the site sponsor at the request of a user or visitor. A group can include, but is not limited to Home Owners Associations, Church or Religious groups and organizations, sports organizations, service clubs, non-profit organizations or any community group that desires to have a forum or blog for their members. Once a Group is established it will have it’s own domain name that can be distributed to the members of the organization for their own use and postings.
The user does not have access to create a new group for your organization. If you would like to request this access you can contact the site sponsor. Be sure to use the User Access category. Explain in your message that you would like access to create a group and describe the group/organization's purpose and likely subscribers (if any).
