What are Forum Categories?

The Site Sponsor or Group Administrator can establish a Category for a group of Forums ie: A Category may be set up called “Swimming Pool Project” and there could be multiple discussion Forums such as: Swimming Pool Building forum and Swimming Pool Landscaping forum an so on.

How do I start a forum?

The site sponsor sets up forum topics. Submit a request to the site sponsor by submitting a request through the “Contact Us” link on your community site. Inside of a Group the Group Administrator can establish a forum topic. To stare a Forum within a Group contact your Group Administrator via their email link.

What is a Forum?

Forums consist of conversation topics that can be seen by the public visitors.  Forums are different from Blogs in that they can have an active discussion by any registered member of the site. All Forum conversations are grouped under a Forum topic for all to see.

At the top of the Forum page you can:

View “My Discussions”: This is a list of the Blog entries and Forum topics that are assigned to your User Name

View “Active Discussions” These are a list of Active Discussions that are on the site along with a list of all of the postings to the Forum.

Post a New Forum Topic and create a new forum thread.
