General Help

How do I search for an article on the site?

The search tool allows any visitor or user to search the site by a word or string or words to locate any article on the site.

What are news blogs?

Under the Blog Feeds heading on the left side of the site are listed all of the Blog Feeds that are posted to the system. At the top of the feeds are those provided by the system administrator which include Business, Real Estate (National, Local, Investment and Finance) and Famous Quotes. All Blog Feeds are visible by all visitors and users of the site.

What is My Account?

Under “My Account” you can:

- View your account which allows you to see your History and how long you have been a member as well as a list of your recent blog entries.

- Edit your account information including your user name, email address and password. The system also allows you to decide what email notification status you wish to have with your blog visitors.  There is also a section where you can create your signature. This area is a full text editor that will allow you to use multiple fonts, colors and insert pictures if desired.  There are other important settings that you will want to be aware of in this section.

 - Track provides a history of all activity on your blog including your blog entries and any responses and comments from those postings.

- Contact indicates your current contact status as selected in the Account administration section.

What is Moderation?

The site Sponsor has the ability to Moderate any postings that are on the community site. The purpose is to keep the Groups, Blogs, Forums, Events and Photo Galleries relevant and appropriate for the local community. If the site Sponsor determines that the site is being abused or information is deemed inappropriate they may modify or delete the information.
